Going up, always stay to the left and coming down always turn right. We stopped every now and then and enjoyed the scenery. Going straight takes you to Lumberjack/Seneca Creek Trails. A nature trail circles the summit, and the Huckleberry Trail leads north from Spruce Knob along the high crest of Spruce Mountain, hooking up with the Monongahela National Forest's Seneca Creek trail system. This trail has no Waterfalls, no Creeks to Cross and no mountain views. There was only one "view" that we saw until we arrived at Spruce Knob. No water sources along this route, so if you’re camping, be sure to grab some water from Seneca Creek or pack in enough for the night.
