Its got a wonderfully gothic atmosphere to it, the island is all German expressionistic nightmare meets the modern(ish) small town seaside vibe of Carpenter's The Fog. There are no real extras though but at least this cool horror exploitation flick is on dvd and available. Brilliant slice of rare British 70's exploitation, plenty of flesh and blood on show (for it's time) in an atmospheric and totally bonkers tale of mystery, murder and mutilation in a seemingly deserted lighthouse on a fogbound rock. The narrative is a little unconventional for this kind of flick but weirdly not in a way that really pays off.
