All in all, 2061 was an enjoyable book to read, but it did not have the suspense, sense of wonder or human challenge of its predecessors. 2061 takes the reader back to the moons of Jupiter, on top of Halley's comet, and into the strange world of Clarke's vision involving Dave Bowman, HAL, and the black monolith.
