Otherwise this is an absolute abortion and Victor Salva has SHOCKED ME by actually making a worse movie than Jeepers Creepers 2, which I didn't think was possible as that movie is an enormous pile of shit. Lights are left off, keeping the house nice and dark – perfect for when you’re looking for someone! I only made it through because my stomach was too upset to lean forward and grab the remote. He threatens Sonny to get a subscription to the paper. Sonny is in the process of moving back to her childhood home – the house from the beginning – and we learn that she is thedaughter of the man who fell to his death to start the movie. It's hard to accurately describe the plot of this movie - not because I'm wary of spoiling the movie, but because it doesn't make any fucking sense. But upon arrival in the old neighborhood, Sonny discovers her neighbors are terrified of the local paperboy (Daniel Ross Owens). Or for the most ridiculous twists? Not quite.
Cheap shot bad reviews talking about how 'Rose McGowan's face is the only scary thing about it' are not only lazy and cruel but also don't do the wonderful oddness and incomprehensibility of this movie justice, rose mcgowan & lin shaye scene together was a historic win for queer people everywhere. Oh no. It turns out that he is a cunning and dangerous sociopath, one who may have gruesomely killed her father - and others. Luckily it was at a pawn shop so I don't think he saw any of my 1.99 I spent on this.
Only mildly satisfying horror film from Jeepers Creepers director Victor Salva, Rosewood Lane sees Rose McGowen (who, thanks to poor surgery, looks like a partially melted Michael Jackson waxwork) besieged by the local paperboy (who is way too old to be a paperboy. I’m going to call bullshit on all the reviews that fault this movie because they find Rose McGowan’s post-accident face surgery too distracting. Anything I'm missing? Even if a bro on a bike makes for the least menacing antagonist possible, Salva's sharp genre instincts compensate nicely. You get a couple halfway tense scenes, and one ok death. Ever played Paperboy on you NES and wondered what it would be like to let that evil tornado take you away and turn you into a possessed doppelgänger version of a paperboy? This movie is terrible. Some of the reasons why won't shock you, but I've got one that might. This review may contain spoilers. TL;DR This is lame.

Victor Salva is a pedophile. Like these people were all clearly the product of someone's imagination, have no true human characteristics, and therefore are not worth giving one single good goddamn about. But upon arrival in the old neighborhood, Sonny discovers her neighbors are terrified of the local paperboy (Daniel Ross Owens). The behind-the-scenes featurette is gross. This movie is about Cherry Darling being harassed by a creepy paper boy. The story follows Dr. Sonny Blake (McGowan), a radio talk show psychiatrist, when she moves back to her childhood home after her alcoholic father dies.

Thinking it was just a joke, Sonny ends the show and goes home.
Made by fans in Auckland, New Zealand. Nothing major, just Rose McGowen freaking out over her toys being moved. While Frasier’s tag line is “I’m Listening,” Sonny employs the more nonsensical phrase, “There are no accidents” – which doesn’t really mean anything, nor does it sound like the type of thing a qualified psychiatrist would say to a patient.

I just couldn't help feeling my time swirl down the drain every minute that passed. Or maybe for a totally non-scary horror film? Includes Featured Feline Monster and Kitty Carnage Warning! Tough on movies...not on films. I suppose it’s my own fault for selecting a movie directed by an ex-con (Victor Salva) whose biggest claim to fame in film was the creation of the wretched “Jeepers Creepers” trifecta of trash among others.
