Cars were only allowed on the cart paths or roughs which contributed to the slow pace, but players should not be walking from their carts with one club, then returning to the cart when they decide they need a different one. I will probably return here only because of the price but with other course options in the general area becoming more affordable it will not take many more bad experiences before I cross it off my list. I've played this course before and had nice experiences but today was a severe disappointment. He kept saying that we need to finish in 3 hours even though our round started at 6:36am and there was no one on the hole behind us. I *may* return next year but will not for the remainder of this season regardless of how discounted the round is. Español . Gambler Ridge is a non-metal spike course. Weekend rates range in the high 30's to high 50's. As a 19 handicapper, it was challenging, but very playable. There is no where to put your clubs and no ball caddy.
